2D Artist + UI Artist + 2D Animator

Pixel Art Asset Intern

Player Character Designer + Animator

Lotus Lost Memories

In my fall semester of 2024 I did an internship on a not yet released title for Fenyx Digital.I created a variety of animated pixel art assets, and also dabbled in some environmental design.

Green Thing From the Planet Jupiter

I am a 2D artist and animator for Green Thing From the Planet Jupiter.

I was responsible for the 2D animation of the starting cutscene (storyboard and background paintings by the talented Chris Spiteri , compositing by the talented Ben Cohen ). This was my first time animating in Clip Studio Paint (I usually use Toon Boon Harmony Essentials). I enjoy the portability and flexibility CSP provides, so I plan to use the software more often in the future.

I was also responsible for a handful of different 2D assets.

I created the emotes for the game, which were also used for promotional material, such as stickers and stamps.

I painted the backdrops which would be used for the ingame credits.

I designed and created the assets for the character selection screen.

I also helped with a lot of concept work. Here are some of my favourite concepts that did not fully make it into the final product.

I was responsible for the 3D modelling a handful of assets, which were modelled in 3Ds Max. Most of the models were created from scratch, but the Bedroom Dresser was modified from a preexisting model made by another team member. All texturing of these members were also done by other team members.

I was also responsible for the modelling and texturing (which was done in Adobe Substance Painter) of the Electric Coil.

At All Costs

I am the 2D player character animator and designer for At All Costs. All animations were done in Toon Boom Harmony Essentials.

Hi, I'm Max Lombarczki!

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a strong passion for creation. Throughout highschool, I had an obsession with animation, much thanks to Erin Hunter's Warriors series, and the animation MAP community. Hoping to further pursue my passion of 2D animation, I decided to take Brock University and Niagara College's joint 4 year GAME Design program. Throughout my 4 years, not only has my love and passion for 2D animation solidified, but I have also found a love for the video game industry as a whole.I specialize in 2D animation, quad pedal animal animation, and pixel art.I am familiar with many different software, including but not limited to;
3DS Max, Blender, Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, Aseprite, Unity and Adobe Substance Painter.

Unnamed Dungeon Crawler Project

One of my current solo projects is a dungeon crawler! My goals of this project are to both help me get comfortable in coding games from scratch, but to also practice making interactions between player and enemy that feel really satisfying to play.
